Why grant applications go wrong
- The application is submitted too close to the training date.
- Course, trainer or trainee details do not match what the training provider registered.
- The officer raises a query and nobody replies in time.
- The training does not meet the scheme's basic requirements, such as the minimum duration.
What we handle: we prevent all of these
- Checking that the course and trainer are claimable
- Choosing the right scheme, such as HRD Corp Claimable Courses
- Preparing the application: programme, trainer, trainees, dates, venue, fees
- Submitting in e-TRiS
- Replying to officer queries
- Keeping you updated until approval

FAQ
Grant Application: common questions
How early should I apply?
As early as you can. In-house training needs 14 days between approval and the first day of training, so we recommend starting at least a month ahead.
Do I have to pay the training provider first?
No. Under HRD Corp Claimable Courses, HRD Corp's rules say the employer does not need to pay the training fee to the training provider. The fee is covered through the approved grant and the claim after the training.
What if my application is queried?
We answer the query for you. Most queries are about missing or mismatched details, and they can usually be fixed quickly when someone is watching the account.
